Name: Alex Guzman Assignment: 23/Union Hall Length of Service: 20+ Previous Union Experience: Numerous Committees, 1st Vice President Current Union Experience: President Message: Thank you for years of your trusted votes but we have more critical issues to deal with since all of us are suffering from debt for unpaid medical bills. We have been meeting with EBA and City Officials voicing members complaints over the destruction of medical benefits. With the change in our provider network we are taking steps to resolve outstanding medical bills. Letters will be going out to providers and members defining steps being made to return integrity to all of us. Thank you for trusting in this administrations ability and knowledge to calmly but aggressively steer the powers that be towards restoration of medical benefits. We are hopeful the right steps are being taken and we will continue to proceed in resolving any issue that comes our way.

Assignment: Chief's Aide 3-0, 26 C Length of Service: 30 years Previous Union Experience: Trained by IAFF and TSAFF on Collective Bargaining and Arbitration. Was on every bargaining team since we got Collective Bargaining, except for the last ones. Current Union Experience: Current Recording Secretary. Message: I got hooked on our Union when Curtis Franz asked for help collecting signatures for a petition. If we worked hard and got the word out in the neighborhoods the citizens would support us and vote for us to collective bargaining. The first office I held in our Union was Sgt at Arms. I was appointed to fill an unexpired term of Recording Secretary in 1978. I have been re elected every term since. As you know, I am committed to our Union and I am asking for your support once again. Thank You. It is an honor to serve you.

Name: Chase McDougald Assignment: FAO 38-B Length of Service: 5 ½ years Previous Union Experience: None, other than the few meetings that I had attended and felt un-welcomed. I would like to make a change to that where everyone who pays dues is felt like a brother rather than an outcast. Current Union Experience: Member in good standing and continuous union oriented meetings with prospected president Chris Steele. Message: I would like to represent the hard working, dues paying members. I think if you pay dues, your opinion should count. Name: Walter Yates Assignment: T 11 C Length of Service: 15 years Previous Union Experience: 1988-1992 2-0 Steward, 1988-1998 Committee member of the following: B.O.S. Committee, By-Laws Committee, Family Assistance Committee, Tool and Equipment Committee, Health and Safety Committee, Negotiations Committee, and Public Relations Committee. Current Union Experience: Assisted Public Relations Committee with several projects. Message: Thanks for the time and effort you are putting into this election. Remember that it's for you to vote! It's often said that if you don't vote you don't have a reason to complain. I don't agree with this. As dues paying members I feel you have the right to voice your opinions and our elected officials should listen. Terms like "it's too complicated" or "you wouldn't understand" are not the appropriate answers to your questions. I hope to help resolve some of these problems. Thank you for your consideration. 210.859.2285, wry1215@aol.com.
