Minimal effort is required to generate funds for much needed programs and efforts. This first raffle was intended to assist with the ongoing maintenance of our union hall. It is a constant effort to maintain, and with the number of events at our union hall, it takes a beating! At least one of our tri-annual raffles will fund our hall maintenance needs. It is good to see how many of us are gathering together again and again as family at our new home; it has done so much already bringing us together frequently and building our family spirit.

Winners of our first raffle were selected in a random drawing at our December Christmas Dance. Our next raffle will help fund the many needs of our Honor Guard. The drawing will be held at our Union Hall at the Second Annual Firefighter Appreciation Night. Tickets will be included in the March issue of Grapevine and will also be available at the Union Hall and from your union stewards.
