On Christmas Day, 2003, San Antonio firefighters at each and every fire station throughout the city were surprised by an unexpected visitor. Our friends at Lulu's Restaurant personally delivered a delicious home made lunch to every firefighter. They say the way to a firefighter's heart is through his stomach! And Lulu and all her wonderful staff are in our hearts.

It's tough to work on Christmas Day and be away from our families. But we have a home away from home and a second family. This wonderful gesture made a great day even better. This was definitely above and beyond the call and on behalf of all firefighters, thank you from the bottom of our heart. You will remain in our prayers throughout the year.
