TEAM S.A.F.D. is going to have a tribute bicycle ride with the wounded warriors on may 12th. The ride will be approx. 20 miles leaving from I-10/1604 and will have some rolling hills. It will be at a moderate pace of about 10 mph. After the ride local 624 will host a luncheon for the wounded warriors and up to the first 15 firefighters who let us know they will be participating. The local will be giving the wounded warriors souvenir t-shirts and caps at the luncheon.

TEAM S.A.F.D will be raffling off a pair of brand new diamond back bicycles with proceeds going to the tour de cure. The bicycles can be seen at performance bikes on thousand oaks and 281. The tickets will be $5.00 ea to win the pair of bikes. The raffle will be held mid may just prior to the tour de cure.

Last but not least, TEAM S.A.F.D. is looking for willing and able members to participate in our annual tour de cure bike ride. This is a two day ride from San Antonio to Austin. We will ride from San Antonio to San Marcos with the night stay in the campus dorms and then from San Marcos to Austin on the second day.
