SAN ANTONIO, TX - The San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association is excited and proud to support the San Antonio Benevolent Fund through the inaugural Hero Fest 2016 event and 5k/10k on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016.
The idea behind Hero Fest 2016 is that everyone needs a hero, but the heroes need heroes, too, especially when it comes to their fight against cancer. All proceeds of the event will go toward San Antonio firefighters who are battling cancer.

The Hero Fest event will commence with a 5k & 10k run at 8:30 a.m., followed by all day live musical performances, including the headlining group The Spazmatics. There will be an array of silent auction items up for bid, a Jeep raffle, free giveaways, and a BBQ plate sale until 2 p.m. The festival will also include a kids’ fun area, food trucks, alcoholic beverage booths, several booths selling unique items, and cancer information booths.
Hero Fest 2016 is open to the public with FREE admission, so be sure to invite your friends and family.
